On the 11th of July 1991 there was a Total Eclipse off the Big Island of Hawaii. I was lucky enough to be there and be above the clouds. A well planned flight yielded these photos. The pilot in the picture is Lt Cloud, notice the eclipse in the picture, tricky shot because the cockpit was in total darkness. We were in total darkness for about 3 minutes while these shots were taken. It was a exciting flight, thanks to everyone who made it possible.
